Toyota has recalled 170,000 Prius Hybrid cars from the Japanese market today after braking problems were discovered with the vehicles, at the same time Toyota promised to announce a global fix to the companies recent vehicle safety issues.
The “fix” announcement which will occur on Tuesday will include a detailed plan to fix the braking issues [...]

Toyota today announced that they have halted the sale of vehicles in the United States amid concerns that the accelerator pedal on their vehicles can stick or become stuck, leading to continuous acceleration while the driver is attempting to stop.
