It’s official, the Chinese government had no part in Google China cyber attacks, then again that info comes from the Chinese government themselves, a government that has been known to twist, turn and sanitize the truth as they see fit.
The new statement, released today by various Chinese councils, comes 11 days after Google stopped censoring search results in that country over anger that cyber terrorists associated with the country had hacked the accounts of many GMail users who spoke out against the Chinese government and their stance of human rights.
Here’s the official statement from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology:
“Accusation that the Chinese government participated in (any) cyberattack, either in an explicit or inexplicit way, is groundless and aims to denigrate China.”
Further into the conversation the countries spokesperson on technology said that their internet policies on internet safety were “transparent and consistent.” While a spokesperson for China’s State Council, said the government’s regulation of the Internet is legitimate and should be free of external influences.
I’m still not quite sure why it took the Chinese government one week to respond to the accusations, perhaps like their underage gymnast at the Summer Olympics they were too busy sanitizing any proof that exists before making an official statement.

Didn't U.S. government also accuse of a country in Middle east with WMD? U.S. foreign policy has been a major failure last decade.
This has nothing to do with U.S. Foreign Policy. It has everything to do with Google which is a multi-national (and successful one at that) company. The lack of a quick turn around time does raise some questions, but until proof is provided by either side it's just a big rumor.
