In 2009 California teacher Crystal Defanti sent her fifth graders at Jackson Elementary school in Sacramento a DVD compilation of class trips, unfortunately, she accidentally cut in scenes from her homemade sex tape, only realizing the mix up after it was too late.
Luckily for Defanti parents of the students stood behind the teacher, telling CBS 13 Sacramento that Defanti has always been a good teach for their students and that the mix up appeared to be an honest mistake.
Adding to the epic fail was the fact that the DVD actual did feature various school trips with a professional looking DVD menu. It wasn’t until the children started sharing classroom stories and clapping that the video cut to the included sex scene.
Defanti did realize the error and quickly called one of the families, according to CBS 13 she “ask[ed] the man and his wife to call every parent they knew to stop their kids from seeing the DVD too.”
According to the school district, Defanti is a well-liked teacher and while they are investigating the case, it’s highly unlikely that she will lose her job over what was clearly a huge mistake.
