The Asus Eee PC 1005P and 1005PE Netbooks will arrive in 2010 and they feature some impressive new Netbook abilities including the new super-efficient Intel Atom N450 processor and what Asus is promising is 12.5 hours battery time on a single 6 cell battery.
The units also feature 10 inch LED-backlit displays with 1,024 x 600 pixels resolution, 1GB DDR2 RAM and for the 1005PE a 250GB hard drive.
Asus is also throwing in Windows 7 Start Edition and the Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, a slightly faster improvement over the current Intel G31 based GMA 3100 GPU.
No word yet on pricing or availability, but we’ll keep you posted.

12.5 hours of battery life on a 6 cell supply is definitely a remarkable achievement. This would be a great benefit to consumers. How much will these netbooks cost?
