Reports have been surfacing all morning that the Blackberry BIS service is having some major issues, effecting various users across the United States. The issue is leading to email and other message sending and receiving problems.
Some users in that region have also reported “extremely slow” web browsing and the inability to view attachments.
The issues are affecting Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T customers.

Confirmed – Verizon BB user in Iowa. Data appears slow but email is non-existant. Last message I received was 12:39am. I had another email come in at 2:42am but that has yet to be delivered to my device. My corporate blackberry is working fine on the sprint network using a BES.
Thanks Andy, that's what I expected, it's a BIS issue. Not a good Thursday for many business users I fear. At least your company is big enough to run BES.
Sprint is having the same problem. I am located in the New Jersey
No service in Atlanta GA area for AT&T and Jersey City, Manhattan area for Verizon. confirmed by way of our remote offices' lack of BB comm services.
T-Mobile BB user in Florida. Browsing, texting and voice all okay. No email since at least 3:00 am.
Austin TX, Verizon BB Storm, no email but SMS and Web are working fine. 5 other co-workers 4 on Verizon one on Sprint in the same boat, no email since 2:00am.
Philadelphia, same issue.
No service on Verizon in northern Rhode Island
London, Ky Confirmed, Text and BB Messenger work, no email. On Sprint Service.

I've not received any BIS email since 2:40 PM in New Jersey
MN BB user here, no email since 8pm cst yesterday. Web and texting are fine except I'm receiving multiple of the same texts from one contact
