The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness was debuted back in September and given a cost of £530 for UK shoppers (around $881), now the high end handset is getting ready to come to the U.S. and the chosen retailer surprised us.
According to Sony Ericsson, the Pureness will arrive at high end retailer Saks Fifth Avenue and to the Sony VIP Shopping Service via email. It will also be more expensive than the U.K. model at $990, a price that seems about right when being sold at an already overpriced retail chain.
The features on the price hiked device are the same as in the UK, including the “lifestyle requests” service with 24 hour concierge service at cities all around the world.
No word yet on which networks will receive the unit. Be sure to check out the see through LCD, it’s a cool feature, but not $990 cool. [SlashGear]
