Outfield Peter Bourjos was added to the Los Angeles Angels roster today to prevent him from being selected by another team under the Rule 5 Draft policy.
Bourjos is the fastest player in the Angel’s club and batted .281 with double-A Arkansas last season while racking up six home runs, 14 triples, 16 doubles, 32 stolen bases and an on-base percentage of .354.
The club has also announced that Kendry Morales would change his number from 19 to 8 and outfielder Terry Evans would move from No. 64 to No 17. Nothing else exciting to report on that front.
