Sarah Palin College of the Ozarks December 2nd Speech

On December 2nd 2009 Sarah Palin will give a speech at the College of the Ozarks, however unlike past speeches which have been ridiculed by the media, the event will probably not receive the same type of backlash, but only because the former Alaskan governors contract with the school prohibits any members of the media from attending the December 2nd speech in Springfield, Missouri.

Elizabeth Andrews, the schools public relations director, told the News-Leader that the contractual obligation was a “mutual” agreement.  She continued by stating that members of the media could attempt to receive free tickets to the event, however video and audio recording equipment would be prohibited.

If you’re a member of the media and you want to catch Palin outside of the event she’s be signing copies of her book “Going Rogue” at the local Springfield Borders before the College of the Ozarks Speech.

Along with FoxNews, MSNBC, Bloomberg, NYT, WSJ. Yes new media has been a part of the ridicule, so has Saturday Night Live, various comedians and almost every other major news outlet that comes to mind.
