Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident directly outside his Florida home in the early hours of Friday morning according to authorities.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol Woods left his drive at his Isleworth home in a gated Orlando community in the early hours of the morning and immediately crashed his 2009 Cadillac SUV into his neighbors house at 2:25am.
When police arrived they found the number one ranked golfer laying next to his vehicle on the ground with his wife leaning over top of him.
Police Chief Daniel Saylor told the WSJ:
“He had lacerations on his upper and lower lips…He was in and out of consciousness.”
According to police officials alcohol wasn’t involved and an investigation is underway.
