Approximately one year ago Google Earth debuted as an iPhone App, now Google has announced Google Earth 2.0 with new features that are sure to impress.
The program is setup to work well with both iPhone and iPod Touch units and provides new functionality, including the ability to view maps that you’ve created on your PC from the device.
Google has also created an updated icon selection, making it easier for users to implement that feature by making it glow when an icon has been touched. Touch more than one icon and the icon list will be displayed.
Google Earth 2.0 features 31 different languages and is available now as a free download from iTunes. [SlipperyBrick]
