Reeve Carney Gets Casted As Spider-Man In U2-Penned Musical

The U2-Penned musical Spider-Man, Turn off the Dark has found its lead in Reeve Carney and will open in 2010.

According to CBC News:

Directed by stage veteran Julie Taymor, whose work has also ventured onto cinemas, the musical’s budget has been estimated at $40 million US.

The Spider-Man cast also features Even Rachel Wood as Mary Jane Watson and Alan Cumming in the role of Norman Osborn and his alter ego Green Goblin.
