The families of 11-year-old Azhuaruddin Mohammed Ismail and 9-year-old Rubina Ali are at it again, asking for more money, items for family members and much more in their attempt to, well at this point, extort more money from the filmmakers behind Slumdog Millionaire.

In case you weren’t already aware, the families have received $80,000 for new apartments to live in, trust funds set up for their children when they become adults and even a monthly allowance for basic living expenses. Now Perez Hilton is reporting that the families want an additional $48,000 while Azharuddin’s family wants a car for his relatives.

Those demands come on top of a trust that will provide the children with their own homes once they graduate, money for living expenses on their own and many other perks that most families living in India’s slums will never enjoy.

Thankfully, Boyle has ended negotiations and headed back to England, while a charity rep stated that Boyle “is tired, really tired. The demands are now skyrocketing. Danny is tired, Danny is frustrated at these demands and has left (India) for England. He is very, very upset.”

I agree with Perez, get the families a financial advisor, the filmmakers didn’t have to provide them with anything outside of their working pay, they have went far and beyond.
