When I first saw Dallas Cowboys Vs. Seattle Seahawks flash across my television today I was expecting a Football match, what I watched instead was a lopsided 38-17 victory that again showcased the talent of Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys offense.
Romo who threw for 21 of 36 with 256 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions dominated Sunday’s game, passing to 10 various players, while completing his third game in a row with a passer rating of 100+ on the board.
Adding to Romo’s recent success the Dallas QB threw for his 120th pass without an interception (over 13 quarters), while proving that he doesn’t need Terrell Owens to throw into the endzone, on the contrary he proved why T.O. once again is overrated.
The Seahawks took a 3-0 early lead in the first quarter, then trailed 14-10 later in the second before Romo connected with Roy Williams to give the Cowboys an 11 point lead before taking 17 consecutive points with two Romo touchdown passes and a field goal by Nick Folk.
After the game head coach Wade Phillips said:
“This team is explosive in that we’re kind of rocking along and all of a sudden we’re way ahead…The ability to do that can make you a good football team.”
Phillips is right the Cowboys are rocking, sorry T.O but you may have been the weak leak that forced Romo to make bad decisions, at least the effects of the last three games have begun to prove that point.
