Best Buy announced today that they will be selling the new and much hyped Motorola Droid for a cool $200 with a two year contract. The best part? No need to worry about the $100 mail-in-rebate being offered by Verizon retail stores.
Pre-orders begin today and you can order the Droid at retail locations throughout the U.S. or via Best Buy online.
The rebate free pricing should help the Droid compete with main competitors such as Apple and Palm, especially with all of the early rave reviews the Google Android 2.0 OS has been receiving lately. [Electronista]
