School children can be nasty to each other, but apparently not as nasty as their parents. In what can only be described as a sick and disturbing ploy, a 40 year old Long Island Social Worker has allegedly used the adult section at Craigslist to exact revenge on a nine year old girl.

Margery Tannenbaum of Hauppauge according to the Inquisitr is facing charges for “aggravated harassment” and “endangering the welfare of a child” after she posted a “casual encounters” message on craigslist under the email lacethong23@yahoo.com.

Margery provided users of the site with the nine year old girls real name and phone number after the child was involved in a spat with her own daughter.

Under current circumstances the Suffolk County DA is asking the state to review the accused woman’s social worker license, although Tannenbaum has professed her innocence to the press through a statement released by her lawyer:

“She’s a good mother, she’s never been in any trouble before, she takes good care of her kids,” he told CBS 2. ”I’m defending her to the fullest, she maintains her innocence.”

As if the story isn’t disturbing enoug at this point, Tannenbaum was the “class parent” for both girls last year.
