The Nintendo Wii Black Limited Edition console is now available for sale on Amazon UK with a ship date expected on November 6th 2009.
The unit has a suggested sell price of £179.99, however amazon is giving a £15 discount on that price, bringing the cost down to £164.99 ($269 USD). The unit comes with Wii Sports Resort and the Motion Plus Controller which added to the cost, however the system is still £15 cheaper than the White version which includes two games.
Users in the UK looking for a cheaper alternative can still pick up the non-bundled white version of the Wii for a more price friendly £142.99 cost.
Unfortunately there is still no U.S. release plans on the new color and we wouldn’t suggest holding your breath as Nintendo has mentioned on several occasions that they have “no plans’ to release a black version of the Wii stateside. [SlipperyBrick]
