Amazon Kindle Wireless International Version

The International Kindle is finally arriving after months of speculation. The unit features wireless downloads in over 100 countries and comes with a decent price tag of $279. The U.S. version will also see a price drop to $259.

That price drop for the U.S. version is a $40 difference from the current $299 price, while only a $20 difference from the International unit which will be arriving for sale starting on October 19th.

The U.S. version will also now be referred to as the “Kindle U.S. Wireless.”

Other than the “International” label and download capabilities the two devices are exactly the same. [SlipperyBrick]
