CHICAGO OLYMPICS

I live 2 hour outside of Chicago and needless to say today is a very exciting time. With the Obama’s campaigning on behalf of Chicago and the United States government agreeing to back up all financing for the project for the first time in U.S. history, this could be a big win for the Windy City.

Today even the President and the first lady made their case for the city. How important was the endorsement of Michelle and Barack Obama? It could be monumental, less we forget it was Tony Blair and Vladimir Putin who helped swayed votes for their countries respective 2012 and 2014 bids.

Heck even Oprah Winfrey has reached out to the IOC and pleaded her case for a Chicago Olympics game.

The official announcement will be made today just before Noon Central Time. Now it’s just a matter of waiting…
