Kenny Perry has managed to do what many other golfers only dream of. He’s stolen the lead from Tiger Woods with a two-shot gap heading into the final round of the Tour Championship in Atlanta, GA.
Perry started out his day three shots behind Woods but managed to claw his way back up to the leader spot after shooting a 6 under par round of 64. Woods shot a 69.
Perry will now spend Sunday in a head to head match to the finished against Woods who has always proven extremely dangerous in last day matches.
Woods does have one huge contributing factor in his favor, Perry has shown signs of final round fatigue, self destruction as he did in big match play at the Masters earlier this year.
