Facebook App Finally Arrives For Google Android

Facebook Android App

The “official” Facebook App launched this morning for Google Android and is now available through the Android Market. We say “official” because it was actually developed by Google and not Facebook programmers.

According to numerous sources the program is “feature light” with no messaging abilities, although users can post status updates, take and upload photos and place news streams.

It still doesn’t hold a candle to the iPhone 3.0 version of the application but it’s a good start.
