Corey Haim Found Dead

Actor Corey Haim died this morning of an apparent overdose, according to LAPD. Haim was 38.

Police told TMZ they were called to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, CA just before 4 a.m. to investigate the death of the 80s teen idol.

Haim first rose to fame in the 80s when he co-starred in films like, ‘The Lost Boys’ with Corey Feldman and ‘License to Drive.’

It’s been reported that Haim suffered a “drug-induced stoke” in 2001 and was rushed to UCLA Medical Center. He was also reportedly in and out of rehab 15 times, but cleaned up in 2004 after he moved to Toronto.

TMZ also learned from law enforcement that he did OD on drugs and his mom discovered his body in his apartment and dial 911. As of now the cause of death is early, but police are saying it was “possibly accidental.” The LAPD have opened a death investigation.

Story is still developing.
