General Hospital New Opening CreditsGeneral Hospital first premiered on ABC on April 1, 1963 and the cast and crew of the show recently celebrated the show’s 12,000th episode.
During the 46 years of mob stories, fighting, multiple trauma patients, ‘General Hospital’ won 10 Daytime Emmy’s for Best Drama, which is currently the recording for having the “most-watched” episode in soap opera history with the wedding of Luke & Laura. This one episode attracted more than 30 million viewers.
Currently the soap opera is in 5th place, out of seven, in the ratings.
There’s one more thing. After more than five and a half years, the show finally released its highly anticipated new opening.
