Hey Netflix, we wanted to let you in on a little secret, your streaming service is used by a whole lot of people, especially on weekend nights. Friday is actually kind of a big night for watching movies with friends and family. We only mention it because we wonder why in the world you took your own site down on a Friday night for maintenance.
At 9:10 ET on Friday, a message was placed across the Netflix site with the following message:
“The Netflix website is temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. During the maintenance period, you may be able to instantly watch movies on an intermittent basis.”
It’s hard to image that this was an actual scheduled maintenance on a busy weekend night, but if it was Netflix really needs to fire someone. Thankfully RedBox machines are located just about everywhere these days.
