Many of you might not remember Carrie Prejean by her name. So here’s a refresher. She’s a beauty queen was dethroned from the Miss California title last year. Well, she became engaged over the weekend, her mother told Access Hollywood on Monday. The “lucky” man is Kyle Boller, quarterback for the St. Louis Rams.
According YAHOO! reports, Prejean, 22, described the proposal as something similar to a scene from the 2004 romantic movie ‘The Notebook,’ which starred Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
Kyle, 28, presented his bride to be with a 5-carat diamond ring.
The couple celebrated their engagement in Solana Beach at a Super Bowl party with close family and friends in Prejean’s native San Diego, California town.
According to her mom’s interview with Access, “Carrie is very excited.” A day for the blessed event isn’t set yet.
