“What ever happened to predictability? The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV? You miss your old familiar friends…” For eight years TV viewers listened to the theme song from the popular family sitcom ‘Full House.’
‘Full House’ is one of the most popular shows in the 90s and the house was one of the most memorable landmarks. People who travel to San Francisco pay a visit to one of the most famous houses on television.
Now you can own a piece of television history. It’s a sad moment of my youth to have to announce that the house we all grew up watching is now up for sale. The house that America grew up with is going to be sold to strangers, according to AOL.
Yes, you’re reading this correctly. The popular house from the family sitcom ‘Full House’ is for sale to the highest bidder. According to NBC Los Angeles, the Victorian home, the main feature during the popular family series for eight seasons, is up for sale with the asking price of $4.1 million.
Located in Alamo Square, known as Postcard Rose, the house’s large asking price is causing a commotion since similar homes in that same neighborhood are selling for $1.5 million.
While the price tag is high, this was the home that an entire generation of TV fans grew up watching. This home leaves a legacy of family, friendship and laughter that was brought to us for eight years. It’s the same show that introduced us to the Olson twins and Uncle Jesse, Have Mercy!
Wonder if anyone from the show is showing any interest in buying the home. All I know is that who ever forks over the cash to purchase this house is one lucky family.
